Clearogen acne treatment and prevention regime was created by Dr. Alex Khadavi, a board certified dermatologist and researcher based in California. In practice for more than 20 years, Dr. Khadavi developed Clearogen after becoming frustrated with the existing acne treatments on the market that only addressed the symptoms of acne rather than its root cause.

Passionate about delivering personal care to each of his patients, Dr. Khadavi’s extensive research on DHT and a variety of skin conditions enables him to treat difficult skin disorders – even those beyond the scope of traditional dermatology.

Once the hormone DHT (Dihydrotestosterone, a byproduct of Testosterone) was identified as the root cause of acne, Dr. Khadavi set his sights on creating a safe and effective hormonal acne solution. He created Clearogen: a three-step acne treatment that targets DHT production within the skin, to effectively clear existing acne and prevent future breakouts. Clearogen’s natural ingredients were selected because they have been scientifically proven to block DHT more effectively than synthetic ingredients without side effects.

Clearogen is available in two formulations. Our benzoyl peroxide based treatment is designed for normal to oily skin. Our sulfur based treatment is designed for sensitive skin and is generally less drying than Benzoyl Peroxide based acne treatments.
