What’s The Difference Between Rounded and Orthodontic Pacifiers?

Round Nipple, Round Shield:

Round nipple mimics the shape and size of a nipple.

By gently touching the baby’s nose, the round shield is designed to closely simulate breastfeeding, providing a more familiar soothing experience for the baby.

Orthodontic Nipple, Butterfly Shield:

The flat bottom and rounded top of an orthodontic pacifier reduces pressure on the teeth and gums.

The cut-out top of a Natursutten® Butterfly Pacifier gives the shield a butterfly shape and makes more room for the baby’s nose.
